Recent custom homes
Custom homes we've built in Canberra.
It depends on size, site slope, finish level and the scope you lock in at design. We have an honest budget conversation at the first meeting, before you've paid for drawings, and give you a fixed price once the design is resolved.
Both. About half our homes arrive with an architect already engaged, and we join early to check cost and buildability. If you'd rather have one contract covering design and construction, we bring in the architect or building designer and engineers and manage them for you.
Typically 10 to 16 months on site, plus 3 to 6 months of design and approvals beforehand. As home builders in the ACT, we confirm your program in the contract and report against it every week.
No work goes ahead without a written, priced variation that you've approved. Across our last 40 homes, variations averaged under 3% of contract value.
